Have any other pieces like this ever turned up before? In other words, is this style etc documented?

On a documentary from one of Goring’s estates (Karinhall!?) I saw this symbol on the side of the entrance gate. I guess this was his symbol?

Would like to see the belonging Zeitner stamp as well - from what I can see this set is authentic.

Carinhall and Göring´s many other residences was full with expensive stuff like this.

I have seen on the sale some time ago the same item. The cost was 3600 Eur +15%. Crystal elements are different here, but the silver plate is the same.
It`s from the Berchtesgaden Goering residence.

A beautiful set indeed, certainly worthy of the Herr Reichsmarschall! The crest on the tray is quite nicely done; it is the arms of the Göring family. And the maker's mark on the tray's bottom is that of Berlin master jeweler Professor Herbert Zeitner, who was one of Hermann's favorites. A quick search via Google will give you additional information on Prof. Zeitner.

              Again, a beautiful set,

              Br. James
